LC/UPC Reflector

Description

The 1650 nanometer fiber grating reflector describes that the fiber grating reflector is a standard LC-type connector structure. It encapsulates a special fiber grating in a ceramic sleeve. The fiber grating reflector is a low-cost dedicated reflector installed on the ONU side of the optical network unit (ONU).
When the passive optical network (PON) operates normally in the working wavelength band, the OTDR (1650 +/-5 NM) at the OLT side can reflect the optical pulse nearly 100%. The OTDR determines whether the optical fiber line is normal by detecting the signal reflected by the optical fiber grating reflector.
When the reflected signal is lower than the normal value, the line loss is excessive; when the reflection value is 0, the optical fiber line is broken. Therefore, we can achieve the timely maintenance of the optical fiber line through real-time monitoring of the optical fiber line. The detection and maintenance of passive optical network lines.
